Amy Slagell, Associate Professor, English, and ISUComm Consultant, will speak on ways to design effective, professional presentations by focusing on the needs and knowledge of the audience.

 

Thursday, March 5, 4:10–5:00 p.m., Plant Pathology Seminar, 310 Bessey Hall. Scientific Poster Design: The Decision-Making Process.
Deb Satterfield, Associate Professor, Art and Design, and ISUComm Consultant, will demonstrate the application of visual design principles relevant to the creation of posters and slides for professional scientific presentations.
